Poems of Good Hope

Herzlich Willkommen beim Schreibwettbewerb des "Clubs der guten Hoffnung".

Gedichte schreiben und tolle Preise gewinnen. Hinter dem Namen "Poems of good hope" verbirgt sich der internationale Schreibwettbewerb den der "Club der guten Hoffnung" gemeinsam mit IBM Deutschland startet.

Von Februar 2009 bis August 2010 seid Ihr aufgerufen, eure Gedanken, Gefühle und Wünsche zum Thema "Good hope" in Worte zu fassen und zu einem Gedicht zu formen. Das "Poem" soll nicht mehr als 120 Wörter umfassen und kann in Deutsch oder Englisch verfasst werden.

Anhand von Bewertungen der Besucher der Internetseite werden vierteljährlich die zehn besten Gedichte für die Endausscheidung im September 2010 vorselektiert.

Aus insgesamt 80 "Poems" wählt eine Jury dann nach Abschluss des Wettbewerbs zehn Gewinner aus, denen attraktive Preise winken:

1. Preis: Ein Praktikumsplatz bei IBM oder eine Reise nach Südafrika zu Projekten des "Club der guten Hoffnung"

2. und 3. Preis: Besuch des Africa Festivals in Würzburg inkl. Übernachtung für zwei Personen

4. bis 10. Preis: Illustrierter Gedichtband mit den schönsten "Poems of good hope"

A hearty welcome to the Club of good hope lyric competition.

Here you can write your poem and win a fantastic prize. "Poems of good hope" stands for the international lyric competition of the Club of good hope and IBM Germany.

From February 2009 until August 2010 we invite you to put your thoughts, feeling and wishes in regard to the topic "Good Hope" in writing. Your poem should not exceed 120 words and can be written in either English or German.

On the basis of reader‘s valuations the best 10 poems will be selected every four month for the final valuation by a professional jury in September 2010.

Then the 10 best overall lyrics will be awarded with attractive prizes.

1. Prize: An internship at IBM or a journey to/in South Africa to visit the projects of the "Club of good hope".

2. until 10. Prize: An illustrated volume of poems containing the most popular "poems of good hope".
