Discover Football - a new initiative

DISCOVER FOOTBALL is an initiative by Fußball und Begegnung e.V.

Women’s football teams from around the world are invited to apply. We are looking for teams that play women’s football against all social, economic, or religious odds; teams that are engaged with the community and want to experience the integrative power of football. From the applicants a jury will choose seven teams to participate. The host BSV AL-Dersimspor e.V. will be the eighth tournament team. Sport and culture go hand in hand.

Women from very different parts of the world have football in common. Eight of these teams will come together in Berlin from 6 to 13 July 2010. They will compete against each other and celebrate women’s football. Football is embracing. Football is culture. Join in!
