I am the Chief Executive of the Kenya Community Sports Foundation ( KESOFO). I hold responsibility and accountability for supporting the management and development of KESOFO's work in KENYA as well as managing and growing the organization's programming, increase the quality, efficiency and impact of the programs in the region. Accordingly, I am charged with the task of identifying new funding and partnership opportunities and ensuring that KESOFO establishes strong working relationships and collaborations with partner organizations through regular correspondence, reporting and meetings with such agencies as UNDP, AK, UNICEF, etc). Finally I charged with the onerous task of promoting and advancing the 'Sport for Development' mandate in Kenya and the region.
KENYA COMMUNITY SPORTS FOUNDATION (KESOFO) is a humanitarian non-governmental organization, duly registered by the Registrar of Societies, led by sportsmen in Kenya, with the goal of delivering programs of sport for health and social cohesion, specifically targeted at children, the youth and adults living in situations of disadvantage in both urban and rural areas. KESOFO promotes sport as a medium of health, training and social cohesion. Since inception, the organization has organized various sporting events at the sprawling slums of Eldoret and its environs as an innovative and creative program that enhances children’s growth, adult’s health, community development and promote social inclusion and international understanding.
