Today is the 13th of July - a day of "Goodbye": First, the four South African football teams will leave today! After ten days in Bavaria and a great "Bafana Cup" which took place on July 10th and 11th they'll fly back to Capetown today.
They absolved a very varied programm during the last days: The kids visited Bavarian classes, absolved workshops, for example a "Intercultural training", they visited different cultural sights and so learned a lot about Bavaria and - of cour… Continue

Bertholt-Brecht-Schule gewinnt das Finalspiel des Bafana Cup-Turniers gegen das Franken-Landschulheim Gaibach.
Das Team aus Mittelfranken besiegte die Unterfranken mit 7:1. Der Schlüssel zum Sieg waren die Tore der Mädchen, die bei diesem Turnier doppelt zählten.
Den 3. Platz belegte das Theodolindengymnasium München, das sich erst im Elfmeterschießen gegen die Oberfranken vom Franz-Ludwig-Gymnasium durchsetzen konnte.

Today, after a long time of expectation, 40 kids from South Africa finally arrived at the airport Munich and were welcomed by the team of the Club of good hope and friends from Sr. Ellen from Mallersdorf.
The four teams (Nkandla, Injongo, Youth Unlimited and German School Kapstadt) will stay until the 13th of July and get to know Bavaria - country and people.

There was only one place left: On Friday, 26th, four Swabian teams played for the qualification for the Bafana Cup: The Staatliche Realschule an der Salzstraße from Kempten, the Wittelsbacher Realschule Aichach, the Maristenkolleg Mindelheim and the Simpert-Kraemer-Gymnasium Kulmbach.
The last Bavarian district final had been deferred from Wednesday to Friday, because the playing field had been too wet.

Today the last Bavarian district final should have taken place: In Kempten / Swabia. But looking at the weather during the last days and weeks, it's no surprise that the matches were canceled: The playing field is too wet!
As soon as we know it, we'll announce the new date!
We hope for better weather during the finals of the Bafana Cup!!
