Semi-finals of the Confederations Cup! "Soccer - mania" in South Africa?

The Confederations - Cup always is the "proof" for the following World Cup. This time both events take place in South Africa and the "Confed"-Cup already proceeds.
Already there have been some surprises in the "Confed"-Cup - for example that the football world champion Italy does not participate in the semi-finals!
Today the USA will play against Spain, tomorrow Brasil against South Africa.
How is the atmosphere during this tournament in South Africa? Do you already feel the "soocer-mania" in South Africa?

Our team played well but sadly was unable to beat Brazil in the end. Nevertheless a good experience both players and organisers for 2010.
